Hi there, my name is Niall Santo. I am an NYC filmmaker and creative with a BS in Advertising, Marketing, and Communications from the Fashion Institute of Technology.
I am drawn most to documentary storytelling. I love diving in deep on a subject for a project, learning about every aspect of it, and using my camera and editing skills to reveal its unique insights.
My work sits somewhere between documentary filmmaking and digital advertising. I’m drawn to stories that feel lived-in, human, and visually immersive — the kind of storytelling that pulls audiences into a world rather than simply selling to them.
A major influence on my creative perspective has been documentary journalism and gonzo-style storytelling: work that explores people, environments, and subcultures with curiosity and strong visual identity. That approach continues to shape the way I direct, shoot, and edit branded content today.
